This website

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Google Analytics 4) with IP anonymisation, and only after you accept the cookie banner. Nothing is collected before consent. We do not track the internal areas of the site. You can decline, and you can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your choice in your browser.

The app — zero-knowledge by design

Your records are encrypted with keys held on your device. We store only encrypted data and cannot read your records. They are never used to train AI and never used for advertising. You can delete your data at any time.

Anonymous insight reports

If you choose to contribute an anonymous report, we collect only coarse, non-identifying fields (type of setting, category of concern, broad region, month). We do not collect your name, contact details, precise location, exact time, device identifiers, or the name of any institution. This information is genuinely anonymous and cannot identify you.

Payments

Payments and subscriptions are handled by our payment provider and the app stores. We do not store your card details.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, and objection in respect of any personal data we hold about you (for example your account and billing details). To exercise them, contact privacy@equalrecord.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
