Terms of Use

Draft — pending review by a qualified solicitor. By using this website or the EqualRecord app you agree to these terms.

What EqualRecord is

EqualRecord is a tool that helps you create and keep your own record of events. It is not legal advice and does not replace advice from a qualified professional.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use recordings and records you create, and for complying with the law where you are. Recording other people can carry legal and privacy responsibilities, especially if you share or publish a recording. Keep records private unless you have a good reason and the right to share them.

Trials, subscriptions and payments

Paid plans may begin with a free trial. Charges, renewals and cancellations are governed by the plan you choose and the app store or payment provider used at checkout. Prices shown may change; the price confirmed at checkout applies.

Acceptable use

Do not use EqualRecord for unlawful purposes, to harass others, or to fabricate records. We may suspend access for misuse.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
